Hatch Day

I am a scientist.  Saying this out loud always makes me feel as awkward as it feels right.  This is because I have only just begun.  A mere six years ago I was a dispassionate artist who's palette was full of birds.  I took a leap.

Many things have led me to this moment, and there are many adventures yet to come.  This blog is meant to record my journey and to help connect you to the fascinating yet intimidating world where I now live.  Welcome.
